In 2023, Volksbank Albstadt decided to comprehensively modernize its working environment at Europaplatz in Albstadt-Ebingen in order to introduce future-oriented desk sharing and meeting management and thus ensure optimal use of resources. Desk sharing and room management at Europaplatz

In the administration building of Volksbank Albstadt on Europaplatz, our Desksharing platform implemented. The system offers a workplace management solution that allows the approximately 100 workstations in the building to be used flexibly. The work areas were divided into so-called “home zones”, which offers individual booking rights to the various departments. In this way, every department can book their rooms as needed and make the best possible use of them. This not only promotes efficient use of workstations, but also enables employees to choose their workplaces flexibly.

Digitized room management in the Marktstraße customer center

At the Marktstraße location, where Volksbank Albstadt has 21 consultation rooms for customer appointments, our modern Room management software introduced. Digital door signs have been installed here, which are controlled via Microsoft 365 and the Volksbank banking system. This innovative technology enables the seamless integration of customer appointments and makes it easier for customers to find their way around. At a central terminal in the entrance area, customers can view their consultants' room reservations and find their way to the respective meeting rooms, which are spread over three floors. In addition, the customer center also offers Desk sharing solutions for around 40 flexible workplaces that employees can book via QR code.

Expansion planning for an additional location

Volksbank Albstadt's success story continues: Following the successful introduction at Europaplatz and Marktstraße, an expansion of this innovative workplace management system is now also being planned. The concept is also to be implemented at the Schömberg site to ensure consistent and future-proof workplace management.
